Mondo Duplantis Jumps New World Record 6.22m

For the week of February 19-26, Mondo jumps a new world record while college athletes compete at the conference championships.

On Saturday, February 25th, Mondo Duplantis jumped 6.22m or about 20 feet 5 inches to better his own world record. At only 23, Mondo has now raised the world by 6cm from Renaud Lavillenie’s 6.16m back in 2014. As fitting as can be, it was Renaud who embraced Mondo on the pole vault pit immediately…
